20 Hours ECE Fees

Eligibility for 20hours ECE begins on your child’s 3rd birthday and ends on their 6th birthday. 20hours ECE is available for up to 6 hours per day, maximum of 20 hours per week.
Fees are subject to full allocation of 20ECE hours being applied to Launch. If you choose not to attest all ECE hours a $15 per hour charge will be applied to your account based on hours not attested.

Fees must be paid for every day that your child is enrolled, including any day your child is enrolled to attend but is absent. This includes all statutory holidays that fall on a day when your child would normally attend.
$30 Enrolment Fee
An enrolment fee of $30.00 is payable at the time of enrolment to secure your place. The enrolment fee is a one off non-refundable fee and does not apply towards tuition. When your child starts at Grow they will be provided with a named sunhat for the summer months and a tote bag for dirty/wet clothing to support our single use plastic bag free zone. You will also be provided with information and log- in details for Educa, a secure, on-line portal to share in your child’s learning and development.
A 10% sibling discount is offered to families when 2 or more siblings are enrolled and attending Grow at the same time. 10% will be deducted from the oldest siblings account.
Late Payment of Fees
Payment (automatic payment preferred) one week in advance of attendance is required. If fees are not received one week in advance, a late payment penalty of 10% of the outstanding balance will be applied to your account weekly until fees are received one week in advance of attendance.
Late pick-up fees
Please contact Grow ASAP if due to unforeseen circumstances your child will be picked-up after their enrolled pick-up time. If your child is picked up after their enrolled pick-up time you will be charged daily fees corresponding with the hours attended. If your child is collected after our licensed hours (5.30pm), a late pick up fee of $10 per 5 minutes, or part thereof, will be charged to your account.
Children are entitled to a maximum of three weeks holiday per year on a pro-rata basis after 6months of continues enrolment. Holidays will be charged at 50% of the regular parent portion of weekly fees (calculated after deduction of any subsidies). Holidays are not able to be redeemed for cash. A notice period of two weeks is required prior to the first day of the holiday. Grow is open all school term breaks and closed all New Zealand public statutory holidays. In accordance with our fee schedule, regular fees apply. Grow will close at 4pm Christmas Eve, or the Friday before if Christmas Eve falls on a weekend, and during the two short Christmas weeks we will be open from 8am to 5pm.
Changes to Booked Hours
If you wish to increase or decrease the hours/days your child is booked to attend, a notice period of two weeks’ is required. If you are planning to remove your child from Grow you are required to give two weeks’ written notice.
Children are not to be brought to Grow when they are unwell and/or suffering any condition that is capable of being transmitted to other children. Please refer to the Illness policy for information regarding signs, symptoms, and exclusion periods.
W.I.N.Z Childcare Subsidy
If you qualify for a WINZ childcare subsidy, a payment of 100% of the full fee amount will be payable until we receive confirmation from WINZ regarding your subsidy. Any payment made in excess of the WINZ subsidy will be credited to your account. In the event of your child not attending for the hours you have enrolled for and subsequently WINZ not paying for these hours, you will be required to pay the fees incurred for the hours not attended. Any subsidy credited to your account and then changed/withdrawn by WINZ will be re-charged to you. Any holiday discount will be calculated after deduction of the WINZ subsidy.
